Week 10 DraftKings Pricing First Glance

With six teams on bye, a lot of the top options we usually go to on DraftKings, like DeAndre Hopkins,
won't be available to play. So who are we going to this week with so many fantasy studs
on the sidelines?

It's officially Bye-Nado.

With six teams on bye, which, obviously, shrinks the slate; but with so many teams having their week off, it diminishes the talent pool.

The teams that are on bye:

  • Denver
  • New England
  • Philadelphia
  • Washington
  • Jacksonville
  • Houston
Obviously, Washington, and even Denver to an extent, are outliers on this list. The other four, however, have fantasy-viable players up and down their roster.
  • New England: Tom Brady, James White, Sony Michel, Julian Edelman, Mohammed Sanu and Pats DST
  • Philadelphia: Carson Wentz, Jordan Howard, Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz
  • Houston: Deshaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins
  • Jacksonville: Leonard Fournette, D.J. Chark
There are some fantasy heavy-hitters in that list above. But the more important factor is, most of the six teams on bye generally garner somewhat high game totals. Outside of the Broncos, these teams usually find themselves in game totals in the mid-40s.

So we're looking at a diminished pool of at least 15 players and a lack of teams with objectively "good" implied game totals.

This is what we're looking at for Week 10.

Week 2 Waiver Wire: Who you need to be adding

Buffalo Bills wide receiver John Brown is a must-add after Week 1. Not only does he have huge-play ability, but he's getting volume now with a quarterback in Josh Allen who isn't afraid to chuck it deep to him.  The overarching theme of Week 1 -- other than the ridiculous performances from a few guys -- was, undoubtedly, injuries. And with lots of injuries, comes even more waiver wire action. If you follow the For Fantasy Sake Facebook page , you'd know all of  the key injuries and what some of the outlooks for those players are. If you don't, tough, I'm not going over all of the injuries here, pal. Go give us a follow and keep up with the news. Now that we've got the shameless plugging out of the way -- nah, brah, I'm not above that -- let's get to the options you should be looking at to fill those voids on your roster. Go Get 'Em Tyrell Williams, WR, Oakland Raiders – 63% owned With Antonio Brown out of Oakland – how fun was it ...

Astros Playing Nothing But The "Hits" This Season

If you play keeper or dynasty fantasy baseball, you may want to consider trading players like Jose Altuve and Yulieski Gurriel. Sell and fade your Houston Astros fantasy baseball players. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred has put the Astros in the jackpot this season. Manfred has been falling all over himself for about a month while doing nothing to change the situation after his slap on the wrist penalties were handed down over the sign-stealing scandal that has rocked the league to its core. This just leaves MLB players to police themselves with their own backward brand of justice under the "unwritten rules of baseball." I hate the unwritten rules of baseball. They are dumb, and they need to go away. Throwing at players accomplishes nothing. Do you want justice? Try winning the game. However, the level injustice that is being allowed to occur has put a target on every one of Houston players' backs considering the over-under for the times the Astros player...
